Site Supervisor


Let It Grow, Inc. has an immediate opening for a sitework/concrete Site Supervisor. The position is responsible for supervision of commercial & public site construction projects. We strongly prefer candidates who have worked in the sitework construction industry and have a strong track record of meeting project schedules. Projects include parks, athletic complexes, luxury mid-rise residential, government, universities, retail, and corporate – encompassing landscape and concrete expertise.

 

Site Supervisors assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of site and landscape construction projects. Site Supervisors core goals are to meet on-time delivery of jobs that are profitable, safe, and meet customer specifications. It is the primary responsibility of the Site Supervisor to manage people, projects, and process. Site Supervisors are responsible for leadership, field guidance, and direction of all foremen and field crew personnel.

 

Duties include: Pre-Planning, field RFI’s, 2 week outlooks, change order origination, equipment and material requests, timesheet recording, tool box talks, unit cost performance, purchase order routing, company safety, field inventory management, subcontractor scheduling, and accountability.

 

Site Supervisors are also responsible for:

 

  • Providing customers with clear and easy to understand information pertaining to job goals.
  • Delivering and following up on all project issues to ensure that clients have enough information to make an informed decision and act in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining open lines of communication with internal staff

 

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years in commercial site supervisor experience
  • Organized and able to manage time, work crews, and administrative compliance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Irrigation Manager

 

Let It Grow, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Irrigation Manager. The position is to oversee and manage the day to day operations of our commercial and residential irrigation department. Applicants should have a strong background in large scale commercial, governmental and residential irrigation projects including, production, job costing, budgeting, scheduling, and material purchasing. We strongly prefer candidates who have worked in the landscape industry and have demonstrable irrigation experience, preferably in coordination with landscape, site construction, and hardscape projects.

 

Duties include :

 

  • Planning, execution, and delivery of large scale irrigation projects in conjunction with landscape and site construction.
  • Oversee the installation of and servicing of all systems, as well as, ensuring full functionality.
  • Performing and overseeing repairs (billable work), contractual work (checking and adjustments to systems), and writing service tickets for all completed service calls.
  • Repairing and maintaining valves, tracing electrical components, installing and initializing clocks and timers, locating existing valves, and performing all necessary repairs.
    The Irrigation Manager is also responsible for:
  • Ensuring that all customers are completely satisfied through effective and proper communication.
  • Maintaining open lines of communication with internal staff.
  • Working in a supervisory role in a fast paced, team environment.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum of 4 years in irrigation management, sales, and installations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to manage time
  • Experience managing multiple projects and ability to multi-task

Diesel & Hydraulic Mechanic


Let It Grow, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Diesel & Hydraulic Mechanic. The Diesel & Hydraulic Mechanic will be responsible for performing all tractor and trailer repairing, estimation, diagnosis, and correction following standard operating procedures (SOP's). Completes routine rebuilds and replacements, makes best value and safety decisions to continue to operate, repair or replace, and performs technical repairs and/or replacement.


Mechanics duties area as follows:

 

  • Follows workplace and vehicle safety procedures consistently. 
  • Follows MSDS training and guidelines. 
  • Able to perform proper Preventive Maintenance - lube, filters, inspection includes truck appearance, interior and exterior, cab related, safety, security 
  • Basic electrical repair and replace starters/alternators/batteries 
  • Tires tread, inflation, rotation, wear, recondition wheels 
  • Inspect & replace basic engine components
  • Understand Shop security and alarm systems 
  • Follow good housekeeping standards 
  • Perform Emergency Road Calls 
  • Proficient at brake diagnostic/repair& replace/adjustments 
  • Direct/Indirect labor accountability (completing personal paperwork) 
  • Basic Computer Skills 
  • Assist in parts inventory management 
  • Inspect & replace drive line components
  • Remove and replace transmission and clutch (R&R)
  • Advanced and continually upgrading tools
  • Valve and injector adjustments 
  • Remove and replace steering & chassis components
  • Basic welding & cutting 20. Fifth wheel service and rebuild/ king pin wear 
  • Remove & replace all engines 
  • Diagnostic Computer Skills 
  • Citation corrections/ sign off
  • May perform accident repairs on tractors or trailers
  • Must be able to communicate with internal customers (i.e. other shop associates, drivers, other maintenance shops, etc.) on such things as stances, wait times, reasons for repair decisions and status updates.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
  • Must have valid drivers license with acceptable driving record (CDL preferred)

 
Minimum Experience, Education, and Training Required: 

 

  • Technical or advanced degree or equivalent experience. 
  • Exposure to windows based computer systems, preferred.
  • Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs. 
  • Successfully demonstrated problem solving skills. 
  • Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.

The position is responsible for compiling bids and assisting with the management of commercial & public landscape site construction projects. We strongly prefer candidates who have worked in the landscape industry and have demonstrable estimating experience, preferably in landscape and site construction, hardscape, and irrigation -- including a track record of contract sales.

 

It is the primary responsibility of the Landscape & Site Construction Estimator to bring a consistent flow of profitable new business to the business enterprise, in accordance with the company’s sales and marketing plan. Duties include: solicit new business opportunities for the organization in order to meet sales objectives, prepare proposals for new work in a complete and professional manner, and assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of landscape & site construction projects.

 

Landscape & Site Construction Estimators are also responsible for:

 

  • Providing customers with clear and easy to understand information pertaining to all of our high quality products and services
  • Delivering and following up on bid packages to ensure that clients have enough information to make an informed decision
  • Maintaining open lines of communication with internal staff

 

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum of 3 years in commercial contract sales experience in the landscape industry
  • Prefer Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering or Forestry
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to manage time
  • Experience managing multiple projects and ability to multi-task
  • Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Timberline Systems a plus
