Let It Grow was awarded the contract by the Borough of Oradell, NJ and Boswell Engineering to build The Ridgewood Athletic Fields, a multi-use recreational facility on Ridgewood Avenue in Oradell.

It included 140,000 square feet of synthetic turf athletic fields. Incorporated in the field of play were two baseball diamonds, a football field, and a soccer field. The fields were designed so two baseball games could be conducted simultaneously or a football game and soccer game could be played at the same time. This recreational complex also included the installation of a field house/concession stand with restrooms and a field lighting system.

The scope of work for Let It Grow included clearing and excavating the site. A drainage system was installed as well as a perimeter drain in concrete. We built asphalt and concrete sidewalks and walkways.

In addition, Let It Grow put in all the chain link and wooden fencing & guard rails, and gates.

We installed concrete turf footings, installed a new athletic synthetic turf, portable bleachers, erected the scoreboard, and put in all the sports and field lighting, including light poles, all electrical conduits & wiring. We brought in all site furniture such as benches, picnic tables, trash receptacles, and a flagpole. Finally, we top soiled, seeded, fertilized, put down straw mulch, and installed trees, plantings and sod.

This project was completed within budget and deadline and to much anticipation of the local community.
