Let It Grow was the successful bidder in a competiive bid process with AECOM Tishman acting as the General Contractor. The lengthy scope of work included 50,000 sqft of colored sidewalks with decorative paver banding throughout, PIP concrete seatwalls and curbs, sidewalks, road curbs, milling and paving, topsoiling, plant material and fencing. The park also consisted of 2 new playgrounds including safety surface, synthetic turf, Kompan playground systems and perimeter custom fencing.
The challenges of the project were mitigated early in the construction with traffic control design and pre-planning the phases in order to meet the various deadlines for the GC and owner.
